However, we will be working together and adapting the process to suit the exciting group that has been brought together for Paralelo.
Q: HOW DO WE WORK TOGETHER TO ADDRESS ENVIRONMENTAL CHALLENGES?
We have all been given the opportunity to spend time together to address this question. In order to do this, we will be using Open Space – this will allow you to create and manage the agenda of parallel working sessions around the central theme.
We’ve chosen this way of working as it provides opportunities for what is important to each participant to be discussed.
Open Space is not just about talking but also about creating strong relationships and allowing emergent thinking to converge. The discussions will be facilitated and we will work together to develop action steps from the conversations.
Throughout Paralelo participants will have opportunities to show, present and discuss the work they have made or are currently researching. The event will move from free-flowing responses to the question and to one another through to focused achievable, tangible, critical debate.
You are encouraged to come prepared to share your ideas and experiences in a collaborative and generous way.
On Monday morning you will have more detail on how Open Space works, and we will create an agenda together. You will be able to create your own individual timetable for the sessions, We will be interspersing the Open Space with short presentations.see below.
On Tuesday afternoon there will also be workshops hosted by Conditional Design.
